Tires should be rotated every 10,000kms to get proper tire wear.  I would suggest taking your vehicle to the repair shop to have it done as they are the experts.  It will require a different rotation pattern if your tires are directional or if they are a different size on the front and rear.  If they aren’t rotated your tires will have a tendency to prematurely wear out.

This was the best question I’ve ever been asked and it was by a 16 year old girl who was just beginning to drive.  “why do you have to rotate tires if they are already rotating”
